Day 5...Trouble, Already??

This is probably the saddest way I could ever imagine starting tour.. 2 days in I (adam) have developed a nasty case of the stomach flu and unfortunately I've had to take 2 nights off from performing. The band has been going on as a 3 piece and I'm so grateful for their aide and support in my recovery. I'm hoping to be back to 100% by tomorrow or Monday at the latest, but this is worst case of food poisoning I've ever had. Despite the setback, shows have been going well and the band - including myself - are in very high spirits. Only 2 months left, better enjoy every minute of it!

In the meantime, Pray for Mojo.

REVOLUTIONS NATIONAL TOUR 2009

Hey folks, I'm writing to entry from Sin City - fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada - the second stop on our national tour.  We played at Key Club in Hollywood last night to an absolutely outstanding crowd.  We're in very good spirits and we'll be stretching our legs over the next 15,000+ miles through the cold and heat. Please feel free to send any questions/comments our way by sending the band an e-mail at band@bravecitizens.com or by visiting our myspace page. We've had a lot of positive press to build up the tour and couldn't be happier.

We'll also be regularly posting video updates as well as live footage.  You can check out our performance at the Key Club below...

Happy Holidays - New Tour Video!

Hey everybody, just logging on to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Joyous Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and a very Brutal Festivus! To celebrate, we've uploaded the second half of our tour blog from the last days on the road with Brightwood. You can view it here:

I'm going home, back where the trees are green...

It's been a long day/night of travel, but we've made it back to California safely. We left Portland, Oregon around noon yesterday and arrived in San Francisco, CA just after 4:00am. Too much gasoline, fast food, and energy drinks for one day to say the least, and due to the unforgiving weather we were forced to cancel our last show with Brightwood and head back to safer territory. Right now there is a storm raging in the area we were scheduled to play (Ashland, Oregon) and had we stuck around, there's a good chance we would've literally been entrenched in snow for a while.

Unfortunately, our time spent in Salem turned out to be our last show with Brightwood, but all things considered, it went very well. We had a fantastic evening with the guys (and their lovely wives/fiancée) and we were able to finish the tour the best we could with no regrets. We're looking forward to hitting the road early on next year. Dates will be announced soon!

To all of Brightwood and their friends/family who supported us along the way, we offer our sincerest gratitude for your kindness and hospitality. Thank you.

Blog RevAMPed!

Hey everyone, welcome to our new tour blog! We'll be updating this from the road starting now!

We've been on the road for the past week with our friends Brightwood traveling through the CA/OR winter storms and enduring all the coldness these great states have to offer. Morale is high and we've been fortunate enough to spend some time at the Brightwood house outside of Portland, Oregon.  The guys have been extremely generous and we couldn't ask for a better band to tour with.

Unfortunately the early and unexpected winter storms have literally road blocked our route to a few of the tour's shows. After about 5 hours of driving time (on what should've been a 3-hour trip) and $100 on chains for our tires, we were turned away by CalTrans workers on the roads heading to Reno.  With our faithful drummer Mr. Jones at the helm, we humbly conceded to nature and decided to let the icy roads win for the night.

This evening's show (Seattle, WA) is unfortunately cancelled as well. Right now we're all sitting on our laptops at the BW residence, sending e-mails, updating tour info, and enjoying some behind the scenes footage of the Copeland DVD accompanying the latest record.

Nonetheless, everything is going very well. We're having a great time on the road and enjoying the perks of our brand new (2002) tour van.  Going to head out and enjoy the snow while I'm here.  See you on the road soon!
